アビシニアンワシミミズクの説明

眼の縁が赤っぽいだいだい色をしている大きめの中型フクロウ。色は灰褐色・褐色型がいる。

体部には波線模様と斑点模様が入る。眼以外の見た目はアフリカワシミミズクと似ており、かつては同一種とされていた。

フクロウカフェでの在籍や飼育者数は少なめ。

Explanation of an owl

A large medium-sized owl with an orange-colored rim that is close to red. There are taupe and brown types in color.

Wavy and speckled patterns appear on the body. Other than the eyes, it looks similar to the Spotted Eagle Owl and was once considered the same species.
