メガネフクロウの説明

濃い茶色の顔をしている大型のフクロウ。

眉斑（まゆ毛）の先から嘴上部を通り目を囲うように白い模様が頬まで続いており、まるでメガネをかけているように見えることからメガネフクロウと呼ばれる。

幼鳥の頃の白い綿羽は長い期間残り、他の種より幼鳥姿を長く楽しめるフクロウ。成鳥の羽衣になるまで最長で5年もかかると言われている。

フクロウカフェでは人気な種類だが、飼育者数は少なくマイナー。

Medium to somewhat large owls with dark brown faces.

A white pattern continues from the top of eyebrows (eyebrows) to the cheek, passing through the upper part of the eyebrows, and is called a “Spectacled owl” because it looks like wearing glasses.

The white cotton feathers of the early childhood remain for a long time, and owls can enjoy the appearance of the young bird longer than other species. It is said that it will take up to 5 years to become an adult bird’s coat.

It is a popular type at Owl Cafe, but the number of breeders is small and minor.
